Helmut lost his young wife Marion ten years ago to the same disease as his mother decades before. In this autobiographical journey, he repeatedly encounters the two women and his younger alter ego, who try to save his soul. In the process, present and past, fiction and reality blend into a synthesis of music, color, landscape, poetry, and painting.
